Joan began with meeting a number of suppliers and researching what technology was available to make these improvements.
Brighter Bills, worked with Joan and Martin Ridd of Liverpool IT Services to design the specification.“Brighter Bills have a great deal of experience in working within the education sector. What we find is there are a number of features that are common to most schools/colleges, but it’s the way the features are implemented to the specific requirements that offers major benefits. Our Project Management Team are fantastic at helping a school understand how they can achieve their objectives by using the telephone system as a business tool”. Joan & Martin identified the main areas that were most important:
Lower Costs -Brighter Bills offer low cost line rental and call charges to reduce a school’s communication costs. With reducing budgets, this is very important for all schools/colleges.
Auto Attendant—to professionally answer and direct calls during the day & out of hours. This reduces the ‘bottleneck’ at Reception.
Voicemail to email -all personnel can have voicemail with the message delivered via the handset or as an email attachment. No more missed messages.
Adhoc Call Recording -to allow staff to record important conversations at the touch of a key. The recording is then delivered to the member of staff by email for easy review and storage.
After winning the tender in March 2016, a Mitel telephone system was installed over the school Easter holidays. Lawrence Community Primary School continue to work with Brighter Bills to discuss how technology can drive down costs and improve communication.
From the initial telephone conversation to the consultation meeting at our school, it was clear that Brighter Bills Ltd understood our requirements. Their level of expertise and experience in the Education Sector made us feel very comfortable. The transition to the new telephone system was seamless and we are delighted with our purchase.
