We spoke to a number of companies and received proposals for a range of new systems. We believe that internal communication within the school and with our parents is a very important part of our everyday life. The investment was sizeable, ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 and we knew we had to make the right decision. Then we met Les Mattar from Brighter Bills Ltd who started discussing keeping the Siemens system and upgrading it. Ini-tially we didn’t think this possible and had a number of meetings and discussions with Les to really find out what an upgrade would offer us. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that upgrading the system to the latest level of software would give us all the features and benefits we had discussed with other suppliers, at a fraction of the price. We could also use new technology to drive down our operating costs. Our original investment in the Siemens system was well justified
